Personal Trainer and conditioning specialist since 1999 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2010 from University of Western States and opened a private practice in Gresham, OR. In 2012, I took over as Assistant Clinic Director and Attending Physician for Western States at their Gresham outpatient clinic location. I run an active care/rehabilitation based clinic here seeing a wide variety of patients including CrossFit athletes of all levels and collegiate athletes from the area. In 2014, I became involved in CrossFit and have developed Movement Prep programs for area gyms. In 2015, after years of training, I earned my StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor certification and I now train people privately, teach classes, and teach kettlebell and movement workshops in addition to my clinical duties for the University of Western States. I utilize a variety of movement approaches in my patient care and training, being a certified DNS Exercise Trainer, StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor and having taken Parts A-D of the McKenzie MDT courses. In the rehab setting in particular, I utilize a developmental rehab progression working from the ground up with patients and training clients to insure that movement systems efficient and as compensation free as possible.
