Dr. Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova is a licensed physical therapist providing patient-centered treatment. Her treatment philosophy has been shaped by her experience as a clinician, patient and athlete.
Anastasiia has been a tennis player since an early age, when she picked up a tennis racket in Kiev, Ukraine. She had exposure to tennis/strength and conditioning training when she trained at Sanchez-Casal academy in Barcelona, Spain – one of the leading tennis academies in the world. She was competing in international ITF and WTA tournaments. Then, she moved to the United States where she graduated from Temple University with Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and continued her studies at Thomas Jefferson University, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. During her time in college, Anastasiia received multiple awards for academic and athletic excellence while being a member and a captain of varsity tennis team.
Anastasiia’s approach is to work with patients to not only meet their goals, but also make their experience pleasant and authentic by approaching each case individually. She emphasizes movement mechanics and stability and provides the highest quality care.
Anastasiia is a member of the Orthopedic and Neurology sections of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She is certified in vestibular and concussion management via AIB (American Institute of Balance), Trigger Point Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars. Anastasiia’s passion for helping others combined with her commitment for professional growth and experience as a patient and clinician put her in the ideal position to help you.
