Dr. Angela Scopel was born and raised in Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. She spent several years working in the pharmaceutical industry and quickly discovered a deeper interest in internal medicine with a desire to improve not only the symptoms of her patients, but their quality of life, using natural medicine. She furthered her studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic where she graduated Cum Laude, with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, and was also nominated for the Clinical Excellence award. Dr. Scopel recently completed 300 hours in training under the American Board of Chiropractic Internist in which she learned how to utilize advanced diagnostic methods to uncover the source of illness and then treat holistically. Dr. Scopel also has extensive knowledge in sports performance and rehabilitation where she utilizes movement analysis to uncover where the dysfunction and cause of the pain is coming from. She uses a comprehensive approach to treat dysfunction that includes Motion Palpation, ART, Graston, and DNS techniques.
