Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 2010 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2012 from the University of Oklahoma. After working as a traveling physical therapist, Beth decided to make the Pacific Northwest home. While traveling, she started CrossFit to meet new people and soon fell in love with the community. She became a CrossFit Level 1 trainer and currently coaches at CrossFit Twenty Pound Hammer in Ballard. Most recently Beth joined Arrow Physical Therapy to focus further on treating CrossFit athletes.
Beth has a passion for treating athletes of all types but has a particular interest in combining her knowledge of proper movement and coaching experience to treat CrossFit and weightlifting athletes. As a tennis player herself, she also enjoys working with tennis players and overhead athletes to reduce the risk of shoulder injuries.
Communication and education are a key part of the rehabilitation process. Beth will help guide you and give you the tools to take control of your rehab and continue doing what you love. She also places value on movement screens to reduce the risk of future injuries by correcting movement patterns before they become a problem.
In addition to physical therapy appointments, Beth offers movement screening. Beth has certifications in Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). This assessment will uncover whether a patient’s condition warrants traditional physical therapy or if they can change their performance by changing their technique or form.
A fee for service model is employed at Arrow Physical therapy because it ultimately allows Beth to provide the highest quality one-to-one care. No aides or assistants are used and you will receive thoughtful, personally tailored, excellent care. At this time, Beth is out of network with insurances. All payments are made via cash, check or credit/debit card. If applicable, patients may also use Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account dollars. Package pricing is available. Arrow Physical Therapy does accept motor vehicle insurance.
