Dr. Casey Murphy is a passionate and caring clinician who brings a new and different approach to the physical therapy world. She combines hands-on manual techniques with activities to re-educate and improve the muscle’s ability to function, decreasing pain and maximizing movement efficiency. She treats a wide range of orthopedic issues but specializes in back pain and is a certified Pilates instructor, utilizing Pilates rehab to assist patients in recovery and regaining stability and motor control. She empowers her patients to take control of their health by providing them with lots of education and self-management techniques to ensure that her patients understand their diagnosis and are armed with the tools to deal with their individual issues on their own. She is a big believer that the whole patient must be treated inside and out. And that means nutritionally as well, Casey promotes whole food nutrition supplements to not only better support our bodies in a time of healing and recovery, but for a life of health and wellness. If she is not able to provide the necessary services for you, she will be sure to get you to the appropriate healthcare provider.

Dr. Casey Murphy received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and has since been certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), finding significant patient outcomes with these two modalities. After referring so many of her patients to Pilates after completing treatment or more commonly, running out of visits, she decided to get the certification herself. She attained her certification through STOTT Pilates in order to better serve her patient during and after physical therapy.

When Casey is not treating patients or running her own business, she enjoys spending time with her husband and German Shepherd puppy. She practices what she preaches, living a healthy lifestyle of working out, Pilates, and eating and living clean.
