Tony Farina is a licensed physical therapist serving the Columbus, OH area. Prior to completing his doctoral studies, Tony gained a vast amount of academic and practical experience in the fields of exercise science, sport performance, human nutrition, and rehabilitation.
After completing his undergraduate degree at The Ohio State University, he obtained a Sports Performance Coach internship with Donskov Strength & Conditioning in Columbus, OH under the mentorship of Anthony and Matt Donskov. After completing the internship program, Tony was granted the opportunity to be hired on full-time as a Head Strength Coach and continue his transformational coaching development. While at DSC, Tony had the privilege of coaching a variety of individuals from youth, professional, and Olympic athletes to general population clients. To better assist his clients in reaching their maximum potential, Tony continued his pursuit of academic knowledge by completing his MSc. in Exercise Science with an emphasis on sports performance and injury prevention. Wanting to advance his development even further, Tony enrolled in a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program to better manage the continuum of acute rehabilitation to performance training. Since completing his doctoral studies, Tony has continued to develop as a clinician through completion of advanced training in manual therapy, joint and soft tissue manipulation, movement screening, and dry needling.
